Q: What do you use to sweeten your ice cream with?
A:
Real sugar and a little corn syrup. This is not, however, the "high-fructose corn syrup" that is causing concern.

Q: Does the ice cream have any artificial sweeteners?
A: No, we do not use artificial sweeteners.

Q: Are the calories the same for the flavors?
A: Yes. All the vanilla-based flavors have the same number of calories, and all the chocolate-based flavors have the same number of calories.

Q: Are you the same as "Tasti Delites"?
A: No, we are d'Lites Emporium. One taste of our ice cream will end any confusion.

Q: Do you sell ice cream cakes?
A: Yes, we always have cakes available in the freezer. We can decorate them when they are purchased. We can make custom-flavored cakes but they must be ordered and paid for with two weekdays notice. Cake sizes are as follows: Small (7") Cake = serves 6-8 people; Large (10") Cake = serves 8-12 people.

Q: How do they come up with the flavors?
A: Some of the flavors are made by the flavoring company "as is", i.e. German Chocolate Cake. Others, like Chocolate Macaroon, are combined flavors like Coconut and White cake batter.

Q: How many weight watcher points is your ice cream?
A: WEIGHT WATCHERS® uses a point system for the people using their weight loss program. Each four-ounce serving is approximately 1 WW point. They provide a sliding scale that measure points by the number of grams of fiber and fat. Our ice cream has the following point values: Small = 1 point; Medium = 2 points; Large = 3 points; Pint = 4 points; Quarts = 8 points.

Q: I am diabetic, can I eat this ice cream?
A: We are not physicians, and while many diabetics CAN safely consume our products, it is best to advise the customer to take the nutritional information to his/her physician and ask them. Many doctors have different treatment options and beliefs on what diabetics should/can eat, and we cannot guess what their doctor feels is best for them.
